Introduction

I live in a place where magic no longer exists.

Guilds were no more.

It was a land where magic was despised and feared.

Wizards were exiled, put to jail...

and some, even killed.

People born with magical powers were forced to hide them,

never to use their abilities to the eyes of those without it.

Instead of magic, technology reigned.

Flying vehicles, teleportation...a digital world...

To be honest, the progress was way too fast.

It's as if something was wrong.

In a span of twenty years,

this once medieval world

turned into something so technologically advanced

and it makes you wonder:

Was it all man-made, born from one's intellect..

...or through magic?

These questions have been troubling me for a very long time.

Although to be honest, there is nothing that I could do right now.

Not at this state.

But still,

I have to do something...anything.

I will press on forward until I find my answer and make things right.

Even if it means betraying my own family.
