RotD and Miraxus Doujin's Release will be Delayed :|

So it's probably going to come out in July instead BECAUSE MY PEN TABLET SUDDENLY STARTED ACTING CRAZY AND STUFF AND DIED EVENTUALLY so I'm going to buy a new one next week. I WAS EVEN SUPPOSED TO BUY MYSELF A COPY OF WATCH_DOGS BUT THEN THIS HAPPENED SO THE MONEY'S GOING TO MY DRAWING TOOL COZ IT'S MORE IMPORTANT *weeps*

RIP, my 2nd tablet. You have served me well.

I REALLY apologize for the delay! (I guess sh*t happens. sigh)

In other news, I already found Editor # 1 for RotD! I can't let you guys know who that person is yet, though. He/she will be included in the crazy RotD cast!

Chapter 1 Cover Preview and btw I need some help

The first chapter will be released on June 27, 2014 and it'll appear on the "read doujinshi" section. If I don't release it on that day, it could only mean that I've also been busy with other personal things.

I'm actually in need of someone who's VERY good in English who will correct my bad grammar because I don't live in an English-speaking country. :| If you guys are interested, kindly email me a sample of your works (fan fiction, script writing) at astrayeah@yahoo.com. Unfortunately I really can't pay the editor because I'm kinda broke right now but if you guys are okay with being included in the story as a character then go ahead! You will also get the chance to read everything first XD

The deadline for applications is on May 24, 2014. Also, please don't send follow-up emails saying "did i get chosen?"--I really don't have the balls to come up with a response to that so I apologize in advance if I don't reply.

Character Feature: Levina Dreyar

I guess it's time to feature the female lead! coz I haven't posted anything in ages

Laxus and Mirajane's daughter and Zeus' older twin sister. Just like her parents, she is an S-class mage and is gifted with the power to control thunderstorms. Despite her good looks and popularity, Levina lacks finesse--much to the dismay of many. She is easily distracted in the presence of cute things, and immediately loses her "badass" composure in the process. Levina seems to harbor some feelings towards her childhood friend Zael but the latter is too dense to even realize it.

A/N: I have to feature her first coz she's my favorite, haha! I mentioned this one before but Levina will be in charge of the comic relief this time around coz she's really crazy (unlike the other lead character Zael.) If she ever had a voice she'd probably sound like Fumiko Orikasa. (Rukia Kuchiki, Riza Hawkeye)

Levina is derived from the archaic word Levin, which means lightning. She is nicknamed  "Lev" to avoid confusion with Levy McGarden.

Also, will her feelings towards Zael stay as a one-sided thing forever? You decide! Alright, that's it for Lev-chan now. I'll feature another main character next week!

Author's Note # 4: MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT!

    I decided to turn Rise of the Descendants into a manga doujin instead! I don't know if this is considered as bad news, but I just found out that working on a visual novel-ish thing with voice acting and stuff would take forever! I'm already done with the plot outline and the script so I'm already in the process of working on the manga! Here's a sneak peek of one of the pages for the first chapter:

Introduced on the preview page is Adelis Carnatia, a girl who is very dear to Zael who also grew up with him and Levina. She is one of the most important characters in the story. (oh crap, i've yet to update the character page...i will, soon!) 

Also, ALMOST EVERYTHING that I mentioned about the story on deviantart has already been scrapped so it's a brand new story! I swear this one is filled with action, romance and *drumroll please* darker themes so if you're a fan of those things, you're going to love ROTD! The story takes place in an alternate timeline just to be safe because I am totally aware that Fairy Tail is still ongoing. We don't even know anything about Lumen Histoire yet! Let me remind you that the story is dedicated to the Big 5 (Nalu, Gruvia, Jerza, Gale and the newcomer Miraxus) shippers.

The first chapter will be released sometime on June here on this website. I'd like to thank everyone for all the love and support!

Author's Note #3 : Hungry Fairies

I was ridiculously hungry while doodling these. Anyhoo, as you can see, the characters aren't really that serious and they have their own ways of goofing off from time to time. This is how they usually are when it comes to food.

Zael is often calm and serious but automatically loses it whenever he's in the presence of pastries. This is his mom's fault, actually. Ever since he was a kid, Erza always took him to her favorite pastry shop in Magnolia whenever she had the chance. Zael ended up liking them. Lev on the other hand, hates sweets but loves spicy food.

As I mentioned on the character descriptions for Sven and Albus on dA, the latter happens to be a very good cook. The reason why he's like that remains a secret. :) Despite not being able to speak to anyone except Sven, (Senketsu, is that you?) Albus is rather close to Fuyuki because she's always hungry, haha. In other news, I wonder why Sven and Fuyuki are on the same panel... 

Haha, these two. They're always arguing but as much as they hate to admit it, they do care for each other a lot. Nash loves ramen that's why he's hesitant to share some of his with Luna but...he'll eventually give in.

Damn, I want some cake. Zael, this is your fault.

Author's Note #2 : Silent Types and Additional Announcements

    If you guys read the character descriptions on dA you'll notice that most of the boys (Zael, Sven and Nash...oh and the Exceed as well, haha.) aren't as noisy and upbeat as Natsu. The "Natsu" this time around is the hot-headed and tsundere Levina coz I wanted a female character to serve as the comic relief for a change. Albus is probably the most quiet guy among the bunch (because he is mute) although he can speak to Sven at any time using his mind. Despite the majority of the lead male cast being a bit laid back, they are still going to be in a lot of funny and awkward situations. Oh and don't worry, the Fairy Tail essence of boob groping are still present. XD

Also, Zael is pronounced as "Zale," like ginger ale with a Z minus the ginger. (did that even make sense!? haha)

By the way, the development process of RoTD goes like this:

Stage 1 : Script and Character Design (currently on this one)
Stage 2 : Casting, recording and sound mixing (This would take a LONG time to finish. I need to elaborate on this next time in regards to the auditions and other stuff)
Stage 3 :  More Character, Scenario and Background design (THIS IS VERY TEDIOUS)
Stage 4 : Video Editing and more promotional art

The whole project might take over a year to finish, so I cannot give a tentative date for its release yet. Also, everyone working on this project have their own lives too, so the work pacing will differ.

PLEASE DO TAKE NOTE THAT I SHALL TAKE NO PROFIT FROM THIS PROJECT. EVERYTHING IS FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY. AS I SAID BEFORE, HIRO MASHIMA OWNS FAIRY TAIL AND THIS ONLY SERVES AS A TREAT FOR THE HARDCORE SHIPPERS.

On my next update I will talk about the whole voice acting thing and probably another set of drabbles about my characters. XD Before I go, here's a preview of a certain something:

Author's Note #1: Fairy Tail RoTD is now a Work-in-Progress!

      Hi! My name is Judee Zee but I usually go by the name Astrayeah on Tumblr or wherever XD Anyway, lemme get to the point. I'm finally working on the script and concept art of Fairy Tail: Rise of the Descendants! It's a brand new story starring the offspring of the popular pairings within the FT guild along with some new characters. RoTD is going to be some kind of a visual novel with voice-overs on Youtube, by the way. It's going to take some time to finish everything so please bear with me! I would really appreciate some help from you guys (artists, writers, voice actors, etc) so please send me an email (astrayeah@yahoo.com) if you're interested!

 Here are some information that I can share with you right now:

- The story does not take place in Fiore. It takes place in a country where magic is forbidden and technology instead is embraced by all. The main characters were asked to go there for a mission.
- Fairy Tail is currently led by Laxus Dreyar.
- Zael was previously named Earl XD
- Both Zael and Levina are the protagonists of the story.
- I once made a relationship chart for the characters, but most of the information on the descriptions have been changed.
- The characters' parents are still present, but will only have minor roles.
- You guys asked for romance? You guys are gonna get it.
- This one is rated T for violence, mild swearing and other stuff.

OH AND HAVE I MENTIONED THAT RoTD IS JUST A FAN PROJECT THAT'S MEANT TO CATER TO ALL THE NALU/GRUVIA/JERZA/GALE/MIRAXUS/ELFGREEN FANS? :) I DO NOT OWN FAIRY TAIL, MASHIMA-SENSEI OWNS IT. I WOULD LOVE TO OWN LAXUS, GRAY AND LOKE, THOUGH.
